The National Institute On Aging says people are living longer and says it's primarily because of healthier living trends, access to wellness information and improvements in health care. David Cutler, Harvard University Professor, conducted a study on how well people were able to take care of themselves as they aged. He says studies show people are much better educated about their health and are taking steps to help prevent long-term disability and cognitive decline.
